On 5‒6 July 2022, an event marking the launch of projects funded under the European Institute of Innovation & Technology HEI Initiative was held in Barcelona.

The event was attended, among others, by DISCO team partners. During two days of deliberations and workshops, our project representatives had the opportunity to find out about good practices developed as part of projects launched the year before. The event was also intended to inspire a network of new creative people, which may translate into the implementation of joint project initiatives and the expansion of activities planned as part of DISCO in the future. Stanisław Alwasiak, a representative of the Krakow University of Economics involved in the implementation of the project, gave an interview in which he emphasised the importance of such initiatives in creating innovation and supporting entrepreneurship across Europe.

This event also provided a wonderful opportunity to meet other members of the consortium to be supported, such as higher education institutions and start-ups. Thus, the initiative Developing Innovative Sustainable Cooperation Opportunities can be regarded as formally launched!
