On 17 November, Stanisław Alwasiak, one of the project partners from the Krakow University of Economics, played the main role in the DISCO project training.

He gave a lecture in which he shared his experience with how and where to look for financial support for implementing ideas and start-ups, which impressed all the participants.

Stanisław Alwasiak is a project management manager at the Krakow University of Economics. He also runs the Social Innovation Research and Development Centre at the Jesuit University Academia Ignatianum in Krakow, and advises public organizations, businesses, and local governments on social innovation, monitoring, and evaluation. He has managed and consulted in projects funded by the EU, EADS, USAID, and the World Bank, as well as bilateral and international projects in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. He is deeply committed to advancing development cooperation efforts; he genuinely supports Ukraine and speaks perfect Ukrainian.
