DISCO

Title: Mentoring programme continues.

On November 3rd, one of the meetings dedicated to DISCO Mentoring took place. This program aims to strengthen innovation capacity, shared learning, collaboration, and knowledge transfer by offering individual mentoring for chosen students, academic and non-academic staff, mainly from Ukraine.

This meeting was dedicated to 11 mentees from Lviv National Polytechnic University, Sumy State University, and Lviv National Stepan Gzhytsky University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology and it was hosted by 3 mentors from Krakow University of Economics. During the meeting, the mentors introduced their areas of expertise and the mentees explained what they expected to learn from the project. The meeting provided an opportunity for mentors to present the key stages in developing a business idea and for mentees to identify the main challenges they face in this process. Over the next few months, they will work together on the entrepreneurial initiatives of the mentees.

This session created an open, interactive space that helped mentees and mentors get to know each other. It was also a promising start to a successful mentoring season. We plan to mentor at least 140 mentees until the end of June 2024. The mentors are representatives of Krakow University of Economics, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Sumy State University and European Centre for Women and Technology.
