“Our neon signs will not leave any guest indifferent,” claims Mykola Dnistryan, the creator and owner of NEONS.
Where did the idea for such a business come from?
Mykola Dnistryan: It all started with a cup of coffee. In June 2019, we needed a neon sign for the To Go cafe. However, as is often the case, the order was not really fulfilled. Instead of a high-quality LED sign, we received a neon sign with traces of acrylic glue and all kinds of flaws. We attempted to remedy them ourselves to avoid wasting time looking for another manufacturer. This is how the present Saint Neon brand’s first neon was made.
What is the essence of the project?
Our project has two main areas. The first is the creation of commercial outdoor and indoor advertising. We help companies create effective advertisements that will capture their customers’ attention. We also make neon signs for home and office use. Neon signs are a trendy and effective way of decorating the interior of our homes. And the neon signs we produce are tailored to individual needs. We can produce any sign based on a customer’s design.
We also focus on style. Our neon signs will not leave any guest indifferent. They are very bright and can be easily seen both during the day and at night. Furthermore, with proper care, they can last for decades.
What is the innovation here?
Our company’s innovations focus on two areas: production technology and business approach. We are always looking for new ways to improve the quality of our products and services. We are currently developing new products for the outdoor advertising sector, as well as lighting products for home use.
What stage are you at?
We have more than doubled our business in the previous year and are still expanding. We focus on countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the Baltic states since they provide considerable growth potential for us, and we are confident that we will be able to successfully enter these markets.
We are implementing a variety of innovations that will assist us in achieving our objectives. We are working on new products and services that will appeal to customers in these nations. We are also expanding our team in order to deliver the best possible service to our clients.
What is your biggest problem? And what is your biggest advantage?
Currently, the main problem is scaling, as it requires a lot of working capital, modernization and equipment purchases, as well as strong competition from China. We do, however, have a strong workforce, high-quality products and services, and ambitious goals.
