The upcoming DISCO Innovation Lab will take place in Krakow from 22 to 24 May 2024. This event will bring together representatives from Krakow University of Economics, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Sumy State University, the All-Ukrainian Public Association of Innovative Space Clusters, the International Cyber Academy, and the Ternopil Regional Council.
During the three-day event, participants will explore various aspects of innovation and collaboration. Day one will begin with a series of informative sessions, including discussions on start-up funding in Switzerland and the development of innovation ecosystems. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a Gender Observatory panel and hear presentations from Sumy State University’s innovative start-ups.
On day two, participants will visit Nowa Huta to gain firsthand insights into its vision and investment potential. This will be followed by a tour of key landmarks and Economic Activity Zones, providing a comprehensive understanding of regional development initiatives. Day three will be dedicated to embracing climate-friendly technologies and cyber hygiene, with discussions led by experts from various sectors, culminating in a synthesis of debates and a plan for next steps for collaboration.
The DISCO Innovation Lab in Krakow promises to be a stimulating collaborative event, in which participants will exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and drive meaningful outcomes in the fields of innovation, technology, and regional development.
